Objectives of SDFI

• To organize sister doctors at the national level, enabling them to live and witness through medical healing ministry in the spirit of the healing mission of Jesus.
• To encourage and support each other spiritually, professionally and socially in the living out of their consecrated life through the healing ministry.
• To uphold Christian and religious values in professional and personal lives.
• To promote continuing medical and spiritual education and total health care.
• To foster a strong bond and fellowship among the members of the association.
• To network with other professional organizations, congregations and dioceses to ensure availability of religious women doctors in mission hospitals and other needed areas.
• To take up social, health and developmental activities for the welfare of the society and the people in need.
